"We both entered walking to "here comes the sun". Our wedding song was "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" Both dancers ourselves, we improvised the entire performance. The idea is that, no matter how many traditional words there are in a ceremony, it really gets down to your actions and how you roll in the moment so that's what we wanted to portray through our ceremony. I gained a lot of inspiration from offbeat bride, blogs, and my own idealism. I spent hours pouring through photographer's websites."

I have been tossing up if I wanted to share Faye's birth story with the world or to keep it private.
It's her story too, after all...
But then I remembered how much I had been empowered & inspired by all the positive birth stories that other women had shared. Sharing these stories feels very important to me, especially since there are always so many horror stories being told about birth.
