love letters, wooden crates & wine

"We put a bottle of wine, two glasses, & a set of love letters (written in secret & unshared) into a wooden crate and then sealed it with nails (each nail was hammered by a family member to show their commitment to supporting our marriage & then finally by us). The crate is meant as an act of reassurance, a romantic gesture--if ever our relationship is in peril, we are to open the crate, drink the wine, & read the letters before we make any decisions about our future."

Liv is Gentle Women

Volcano Eruption & Cubby Houses

image via sindhtoday.net Due to a volcano eruption in Iceland all my flights have been canceled. I had to change all the moving plans, and it has been pretty chaotic. I learned that you can't get a mobile phone with a proper plan in London before you have been living here for 3 years and opening a bank account is also a really complicated thing. So far about the lastest hassle. The good news: Liv found a new place! And after spending an incredible hot and sunny spring weekend in East London, exploring new areas, great shops, looking for the best coffee and sleeping in a cubby house... I have to say: I am in love...with London!

Happy & Hectic Days! Its so much happening right now. Liv is in London, still looking for the perfect place to stay. The weather is amazing. Blooming cherry blossom trees all over the place, sunshine, blue blue skies, and the warm spring zsa-zsa-zsu feeling inside. I met so many inspiring great people within the last days. Liv is in LOVE with London.
