white peacocks, wings & supernovae

pictures via daydaily.com You've maybe seen part of my new BLUSHLESS moodboard here already. I am in full work process right now. There are so many strong images and ideas that will have a big influence on the new styles. I have the idea of "giving each other/giving the bride wings" through marriage in my head, plus transformation, growing, apiring, explosions... All translating into new shapes for wedding dresses! I can't stop draping and don't get too much sleep this days, but very soon you will see the results.

Isn't the white peocock a stunning animal? I would love to rent one or a few for my photoshoot, but I guess that's not gonna happen.

honeymoon gear

Onepiece MONTICA by Mouille

This is what I want to put in my suitcase. Liv is not going on honeymoon but traveling to Australia in January. Honeymoon or holiday: I love this one piece and the ruffled bikinis. Mouille is a young U.K. designer swimwear label with stunning feminine details.

The weather over here has lately been very British and that gives me great motivation and time to work on new BLUSHLESS dresses.

I haven't had any holiday in years and also have never been that far away from Europe. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. The Trip will start in Melbourne, go up to Sydney and will end with a week beach all the way north in Port Douglas. Liv's PARADISE: Fresh fruit, the worlds best coffee & sunshine!!!

livs golden skull minibar

Last sunday while wandering around Broadway Market after breakfast at l'eau a La Bouche (highly recommended!) we discoverd in a magical little furniture & antique shop full of cool little things, from issey miyake catwalk sunglasses, to the most amazing teapot set... I could have bought the whole shop (but the price tags didn't allow me to do so) At least Liv found loads of inspiration- for free!

The golden skull mini home bar arrangement really got me. The white painted wood table with a mirror table top decorated with golden paint, a shiny skull candle and a set of different antique cocktail glasses with golden rim: Perfection! I am a sucker for almost everthing golden anyway. And I wanted to share it with you because of it's weddingy festiveness. So? Who's is gonna rock something like that on their wedding?
