add some color part I

sun-collage

Did I just say I am desparate for some sunshine? The latest collection of Dinosaur is inspired by the SUN. All this powerful yellow, orange and red shades combined with gold are instantly getting me into summer mood. Liv loves that the collection is presented on the naked body ; )

(Go,go,go away endless German snowy winter, please, Liv is a summergirl!)

I recently found a lot colorful designs that would match perfectly with a white dress and could be worn again and again. My first "add some color post" is about the Sydney based jewelry/homeware design company Dinosaur. The Team consists of Louise Olsen, Stephen Ormandy and Liane Rossler. They have managed to intersect the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business without pause, and have applied the same creative energy and focused vision to each new opportunity. The Dinosaurs have forged an important place for themselves within Australian design history, not only through their longevity and popularity but also through the distinctively Australian character of their work, with many of the colours and forms they use evoking the casual lifestyle and vibrant natural landscape of Australia. -Brian Parkes Curator, Object Gallery They also care about the environment in different ways, so you can be sure you'll support sustainable designs.

Liv likes Lingerie. There has been a big discussion based on boudoir photoshoots on ESB read it here. I agree boudoir shootings by a photographer could be really embarassing. Self-portraits are really inspiring on the other hand. To send over via email if you are in an LDR...or just for the fun of it. And I don't think most man are not interested in lingerie and don't give a shit... Of course it feels great and sexy to be naked. I love being naked ; )

During London Fashion Week Liv met Victoria, the designer of the super hot London based lingerie label Fred & Ginger. Their underwear is delighted to look naughty but luxurious sophistication at the same time. I am definitely a Fan of black underwear, so I especially like the "black label" collection. The Bridal Collection is vintage inspired, from white silks but far far from boring as well.

Love the glamourous make-up with the red lipstick! Its my winterlook!

P.s: fred & ginger designs for both Freds and Gingers! Extra points for sexy mens underwear coming soon.

It's Mens Fashion Week! Liv likes Raf Simons collection a lot: review: here. Perfect time to find rad grooms outfit inspirations. The image above is showing an item by Michael Bastian. What are your thoughts? Is a denim jacket acceptable to wear for the groom? (hello, laid-back beach wedding!?)

If not for a wedding this still is a pretty cool item with its all american, wild wild west appeal.

flapper feeling

il_430xn1173555591 This wedding clutches by Michelle Hartney just appeared in my inbox. I really like the flapper inspired vintage designs as well as her unique rings that made it into the Miami University Art Museum. All the designs have been created out of recycled materials. As much as like clean futuristic designs in general, I like these old vintage laces, it feels like they have a story to tell. 20's inspired designs and fashion always gets me excited because it strongly represents the independence that women discovered during that era.
