Beach Caves & Ocean Dips in South Australia

We did it! We went away for the week and while travelling with a baby, as well as helping friends putting together an amazing wedding, was far from the relaxing downtime I had imagined, it was so much fun!

Faye is one good little traveller and really enjoyed herself, which made me a very proud Mum.
(not that I can take any credit for this) It was well worth it and such an adventure.

We headed to South Australia for the week and shared a big beach house with friends near Adelaide. I can't wait to tell you all about the travels & the wedding but I wanted to share our little day on the beach first.

South Australia is rather beautiful, yet so much drier and very different from the landscape & climate in Sydney. Much to my delight, we saw massive succulent plants everywhere!
Our favourite was Port Willunga Beach, with the remains of the old jetty and the perfect shady caves. I did even go for an Ocean Dip and little Faye dipped her toes into the water too...
and then she stayed up later than usual to watch the sunset with us! A very special place.
