Brain activitiy and a run

On Sunday we got up early and went running in the morning sun.
I am so proud, and it was great fun. It is really worth getting up early to exercise, I felt so good all day.
I can't wait for our next run now and will try my best to keeping it up.
Spring is here and I am so happy about every single sun ray right now.

After our bodies worked so hard, we saw Brain Activity, by David Shrigley at the Hayward Gallery.
It was very funny. There is constantly so much great art in London, much more than free days (sigh!)

Spending a day off together is the best treat of all, no matter what we are doing or not doing.
It always feels very special to me, thank you Dave, I love you.

A little spring walk

The other night I wasn't able to sleep at all, because of a silly flu.
David was feeling poorly too due to his recent business trips and long work hours but the mild sunny weather made us leave the house and we went for a little walk. It felt sooo good.
I saw the first cherry tree blossoms had some fresh coconut and we discovered so may new shops and cafes in our area.
I am very excited about this spring and hope it will be here very very soon.
And I am in love with all the new pastels, I have recently done this pastel make up shoot for Dashing Magazine, have a look here.

In Berlin part 2

It feels already so far away that little holiday of ours.
It was such a nice break. Berlin is so much slower and more laid-back than London.
Berlin is a great space for Inspiration and having lived there for many years it was fun to come and visit like a tourist.
Back to London it's typical madness caught us and we are somehow just running around.
The Visa Application is almost done and the excitement about the big move grows.

In Berlin Part 1

It was so very good to visit my wonderful friends in Berlin and great for David to meet all of them.
And so much has happened and changed since I moved away.
There is a brand new little baby boy "Friedrich" and loads of new cafes and shops.
My friends home made dinners though are still as good as always.
I really miss the the amazing Mauerpark flea market on Sundays.
In the cold weather it was impossible to walk long distances.
Every few meters we stopped for another coffee, tea, hot chocolate or mulled wine.
And we spent a lot of the time in all the outstanding little Cafes & Restaurants like Chi Sing, Wohnzimmer Bar, Cafe Sloerm....
Berlin is such a great place and next time I have to show David around in Summer.
In London right now it feels strongly like Spring is on it's way.
